About Me

I am a provider of the AHF Healthcare Centers: Las Vegas. As a gay Black military veteran, my journey into treating patients with HIV is deeply intertwined with my personal experiences, struggles, and triumphs. Growing up, I witnessed the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS on my community, particularly among LGBTQ+ individuals and people of color. This awareness ignited a passion within me to make a difference and combat the stigma.

Joining the military provided me with a sense of purpose and belonging, but it also exposed me to the harsh realities faced by marginalized communities, including the lack of access to proper healthcare and HIV treatment. After completing my military service, I dedicated myself to acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills to become a healthcare professional specializing in HIV/AIDS treatment.
Each patient has a unique story, but they all share a common need for understanding, support, and quality healthcare.

Treating patients with HIV is not just a job for me; it is a calling—a calling to stand up against discrimination, to fight for equal access to healthcare, and to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives regardless of their HIV status. Every day, I am reminded of the importance of my work as I witness the resilience and courage of my patients.

Fun Fact: Some of the things I enjoy are my three poodles, my husband, skiing, hiking, and travel.
