Dr. Melinda Brown, MD

About Me

I am the Medical Director of the AHF Healthcare Centers: Plainfield, Hell's Kitchen and Midtown Manhattan. During an internship at the Princess Margaret Hospital in the Bahamas, I saw many young people and innocent children stigmatized and given suboptimal care because of an HIV diagnosis. I want to provide respectful, holistic, and excellent care regardless of gender, race, sexuality, or HIV status. My goal is to help eradicate HIV and Hepatitis C.

Some things I enjoy when I’m not working are sports like tennis, football, and basketball; traveling to new and exotic places; singing and music; reading a good book; and playing board games.
