Dr. Mark Levine

About Me

I am the Medical Director of the AHF Healthcare Center: Houston Fannin. Working at AHF allows me to combine my skills in primary care and HIV medicine by offering comprehensive and equitable health services to all in need. I’ve been providing direct care to people living with HIV since 2007. I am always amazed by the continuous evolution of the field, fueled by the constant integration of cutting-edge scientific advances. My patient-centered approach to care prioritizes education, prevention, and fostering a collaborative environment. If a patient does not ask questions, I feel like I haven’t done my job.

Fun fact: I was born and raised in Houston but have worked, trained, and leisurely traveled in 49 of the 50 States (darn you, Alaska!). I also love geography and have been known to stare at maps for hours.
