About Me

I am the Provider of the AHF Healthcare Center - Dallas. Prior to becoming a PA, I worked as a pharmacy technician and as a medical assistant in family practice. But when I graduated from PA school, I knew that I wanted to work with an underserved population. I believe that healthcare is a human right. I chose AHF three years ago because the relationship between the provider and the patient is valued. AHF not only treats its patients, but advocates for them as well.

Fun Fact: I came out of college with a business degree, ready to take on the world of technology sales. I worked for eleven years for a global software reseller in sales, sales training and call center management. My work took me all over the United States and western Europe. But I walked away from that career for a more fulfilling one in medicine. I was in my mid-forties when I came out of PA school, the oldest person in my class by far. But even though I got a late start, I know that I am truly where I belong, serving patients at AHF. Our family loves animals. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a horse. In the past we have had birds, guinea pigs, lizards and fish. When I am not working or with my family, I love studying film and world war II history. I love all films but especially classic films from the golden age of Hollywood.
