About Me

I am the Medical Director of the AHF Healthcare Centers: South Beach. My passion for HIV began in college at Florida International University. Early on, I began to realize and understand the impact HIV had on the LGBTQ+ population. My desire to promote change in my community grew in medical school and residency. During my residency, I became the Founder and Chairman of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health South Florida. I worked with a multidisciplinary team of hospital directors to educate staff on the care delivered to LGBTQ+ patients. In addition, I was able to promote HIV awareness at pride events and educational sessions. In fellowship, I continued my work focusing on PrEP and Transgender Medicine. I helped establish a transgender clinic focusing on PrEP and gender-affirming care at the University of Miami – Jackson Memorial Hospital. I am excited to join AHF as its mission aligns with my values and passions. At AHF, I hope to make a change on a community level.

Fun Fact: A few of my interests are in LGBTQ+ activism, physical fitness, salsa dancing, and baking.
