About Me

I am the provider of the AHF Healthcare Center: Downtown. I became a Nurse Practitioner because I wanted to serve the underserved and marginalized community. My first job at Kern County Public Health Services clinic introduced me to the growing problem of STIs and HIV. Taking care of patients with newly diagnosed HIV gave me the realization that this is where I can really serve people of different gender, ethnicity, and low socioeconomic status. I choose to work for AHF because their mission aligns with my mission as a healthcare provider.

Fun Fact:  I love to sing but only inside my home. I am shy and an introvert. I love to run; either outside or on a treadmill. I wish everyone would love going to the gym like me.
